Hey!
So first of all, I've landed on a font I like for the "Text on Screen" effect for my content. It is called "Sequel" and can be found in CapCut. I also know how to make my favorite yellow for the text color, but I haven't learned how to make the color a preset or "Brand Color" in CapCut. I use the "Bounce Out" animation for captions, which brings one word at a time on screen.
A routine/posting method that is realistic and could work no matter what I have going on is as follows:
One-two days a week (preferably Sunday + another day) film material that can be used for 21 pieces of content [filming = ~3 hours or less]
Edit the material into 21 pieces of content over those one-two days [editing = ~3 hours or less]. Make sure to film different types of content, as explained by the TikTok research in the previous weeks of this project.
Use "Buffer" scheduler to schedule posts of content for the whole week ahead, using three videos for TikTok, and one of those videos for Instagram. [however, when using this scheduler, it is vital to interact with people who comment on the post within the first hour of posting each video as to appease the algorithm. [scheduling = ~1 hour]
Throughout the week if wanted, create pieces of content that are on the spot! Have fun with it!! [filming = as much as I want]
This schedule is both flexible and realistic, and if I am focused, I can do many of these things in less time than I predicted. I can also bank content and create/schedule posts for long periods of time ahead. For example, before I go out of town on a trip, I can schedule posts for 3+ weeks ahead!
The biggest thing is to have fun with it. Setting aside a day or two to film mass amounts of content and edit it is crucial, but also being free to make content that is inspired by the moment is equally as important - it is all art.
In addition, on a more personal note in my journey, I am in the process of changing my artist name on all streaming platforms. Right now it is "elie samouhi". I want to change it to just "ELIE". I think "ELIE", in all caps, suits me and my music much better and is a stronger artist name.
That's all for today. Thank you for reading!!!
