Week 4 Session 1 - TEXT ON SCREEN

Today, my good friend Nik helped me film a piece of content. I utilized hooks and filming styles that I learned from analyzing TikToks. I used a visual hook, zooming in at the beginning, and filmed a medium-shot video in three different places, cutting between the different shots over my video "Breakfast in Bed". Then, I made a preset for text on screen, choosing the specific yellow and font that I like. Then, I figured out how to use CapCut's AI feature that analyzes the sound of the video and writes the text. When the AI does that, it makes the text in lowercase, so in the future, I will need to retype it in all uppercase, but it still saves time because it separates all the text clips.

Feeling good about the text on screen workflow, font, and color of the text. This video, with all my presets and templates, took about 5-10 minutes to make, which is very time-friendly.

Excited to come back and work on the visual aesthetic/text on screen next session. I will also work on it at home, as the visual aesthetic still doesn't look great on shots other than a sunny day in the shade.
